    Mine Training Solutions offers a blended learning option using online and workplace resources. Candidates can conduct the training from the workplace. In addition, Mine Training Solutions offers small group mentoring sessions face to face, but this is only at the request of our clients. The information handout for each UoC or qualification provides full details on the delivery mode including learning, practice, and assessment.

  • Duration

    The total duration depends on the course you want to enrol in. For more information, please request an information handout for the course you’re interested in.

  • Entry Requirements

    Entry requirements are detailed in the course information handouts. These are provided on request. There are internal entry requirements. People wanting to enrol with MTS are mining and or quarrying experienced people with practice in place and who are working at a mine site. Mine workers wanting to enrol in RII40220 Certificate IV in Surface Coal Mining (Open Cut Examiner) must have at least 3 years of surface coal mining experience.

  • Cost & Payment Options

    The total cost of the qualification, skill set, or course depends on your current competencies and experience. Mine Training Solutions offers pay by the unit – pay as you go. You will be provided with an itemised quote that will mirror your individual training plan. These two documents will assist in the payment schedule and pay-as-you-go. All candidates are provided with a Training Plan prior to enrolment to help them make an informed decision. The training plan provides details on the units of competency included in the Qualification.
